WELCOME to USHA Amorphous Metals Limited

UAML is a pioneer in manufacturing Amorphous Metal Cores and Nano crystalline cores. Located in Gurgaon, Haryana in the National Capital Region of Delhi (India), UAML has been in existence since 1988 and was the first one to introduce Amorphous and Nano Crystalline Magnetic components. Since the very beginning our aim has been to provide efficient energy saving solution to our customers.

Our products are used in many applications such as Distribution Transformers, UPS Harmonic Filter, Inductors, Power Inverters (e.g. solar inverter), Switch Mode Power Supplies, Wind Generators, DC output inductors, Power Factor correction chokes, Differential mode input chokes, Magnetic Amplifiers etc.

UAML is 100% EOU (Export Oriented Unit) under EHTP. Our Quality Management System is in line with the International Standards and is certified in accordance with ISO-9001:2008 and ISO-14001:2004. Our all products are ROHS compliant.

 

 

Advantages of our Cores

• Circular shape is more stable mechanically and the core deals only with the compression or tension forces in case of toroidal cores

• Nanocrystalline Cores satisfy both high saturation magnetic flux density and high permeability long with low coercivity

• Low number of turns required for high L, thus reducing number of filter stages

• Epoxy coated fiber glass tape/ casing is resistant against mechanical stress

• Nanocrystalline cores make the single stage filter designs possible

• Low magnetostriction, thus less affected by mechanical stress

• Excellent high frequency characteristics as the values of permeability and core losses remain high and low respectively at very wide range of frequencies

• Low core loss in nanocrystalline cores (approximately 1/5th of the Fe based Amorphous metal)

• Less magnetizing current

• High efficiency, hence low power loss and hence less use of material makes it eco-friendly

• Less leakage Inductance

• Linear Permeability over a wide range of magnetizing force

• Unique combination of high saturation induction (1.56T), high permeability and low core loss

• Fewer winding turns result in lower copper losses

• Up to 70% lower total losses than CRGO
