Operating Flux Density
Design induction is dependent on consideration such as operating temperature, overvoltage requirements, noise levels, etc.
Typical single phase: 1.3 - 1.35 Tesla
Typical three phase: 1.25 - 1.3 Tesla
Lower levels can be used for
1. Lower core loss
2. Lower exciting power

Energy Savings
Amorphous metal cores decrease transformer energy loss significantly. They use 60% to 80% less energy (under no load conditions) than today's most efficient silicon steel cores. Compared to older or less efficient silicon steel cores made today, amorphous metal cores can save over 80% of the wasted energy.

Environmental Friendliness

Amorphous metal transformers help reduce harmful emissions such as sulphur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen oxides (NO2) and carbon dioxide (CO2), the pollutants that cause acid rain & global warming.
