Brief Company history
Usha Amorphous Metals Ltd. (UAML) was established in the year 1988 as a Joint Venture Allied Signal Inc. USA, later on it was taken over by Honeywell Inc. USA and was the first organization to bring energy saving amorphous metal products in India. Over more than 2 decades the company has successfully scored many milestones and has given its contribution towards the field of technology and development. Redefining the terms efficiency and power saving, several new products have been developed and established by the Company since then and the company is being admired worldwide for its products and services.
About UsLocated in Gurgaon in the National Capital Region of Delhi (India) UAML is one of the world’s premier manufacturers of high quality Amorphous Metal magnetic cores used in electrical distribution transformer and high frequency magnetic components for various power electronic applications. The factory complex is spread over 29,596 sq. ft and has a monthly capacity of around 20 Ton of Amorphous metal C Cores, 100 Ton of Amorphous DT Cores & 20 hundred thousand pieces of Cobalt based Amorphous Toroidal cores. In the years of evolving as a pioneer in the industry, a globally recognized name and a giant exporter, UAML has successfully managed to keep its commitment towards the Environment. The Company has always believed in sustainable development and it understands its responsibility towards Mother Nature. For this UAML has established and applied an Environmental Management System which incorporates appending more advanced techniques and making appropriate Modifications on a regular basis. Today UAML is a leading manufacturer of low loss Fe based Amorphous Metal Cores, Fe based Nanocrystalline and Cobalt based Amorphous Metal cores offering a vast range of products having numerous applications. UAML is 100% EOU (Export Oriented Unit). The Company's quality Management System is in line with the International Standards and is certified by TUV in accordance with ISO-9001:2008 and ISO-14001:2004. All our products are ROHS compliant.

Our huge production capacity, over the mark production equipment, export class packing methodology, reliable and prompt delivery are the factors that play as a key role in making UAML a trustworthy name amongst its customers and in the market.

  • 1. UAML introduces Nanocrystalline Cores for precision Current Sensing. 01.02.2013.

    Due to its property of high permeability, high saturation flux density and excellent temperature stability, Nanocrystalline cores are being used massively these days for current sensing applications in power transmission and distribution. UAML is offering current transformer cores for a wide range of Toroidal and Rectangular sizes of Maximum OD limit 510mm for Toroidal cores.
